See below the description from the dustwrapper flap. The author claims that the text runs to 30,000 words, so this is more of an illustrated history than a simple album of illustrations.
The limitation sheet is pasted to the front endpaper (see picture below). Included loose are the original advertising card produced by the author inviting subscriptions, and the subscribers’ list giving the full 500 names of the subscribers. The advertising card says ‘no further copies will ever be published’ of this hardback edition.
