The numbering in the margins corresponds to the 1950 Macmillan edition of the Collected Poems – I have not been able to establish whether it also works for the later paperback Picador and Wordsworth editions.

Long out of print.  Almost unbelievably, this heavy and substantial book was also published in paperback, with booksellers nowadays asking £35 and upwards for a copy.  Surely a book intended to be kept and referred to should only ever be published in hardback.
