Cadbury Castle is a hill-fort in Somerset, 5 miles north-east of Yeovil.  It is close to the River Cam, and two villages close by are named West Camel and Queen Camel.  This excavation established that the site had been in use after the Roman occupation (c.470-580) and did include a large building (a “great hall”?) about 63 by 34 feet.  However, apart from the names, and the local legend, there is little of any substance to connect the site with King Arthur.
