As G&S aficionados know, it is almost impossible to tell the date a Chappell edition was issued, as the later editions were printed lithographically from sheets originally set in type before the First War.

Surprisingly, this Chappell edition is now out of print.  The inferior (more difficult to read) Schirmer edition remains in print at £16.95.
