The first edition was published in 1933, but this edition is, according to the author, “substantially rewritten”.  This second edition was subsequently reissued several times in paperback, and in a special 75th anniversary hardback edition in 2008, but all editions are now out of print.

Inevitably, American booksellers ask ridiculous prices even for the paperback edition.
